One machine is the Clinac 21 EX, which presents the leading edge of radiation oncology. With this technology, the radiation beam can be configured to the shape of the tumor while rotation around the patient. As a result, higher dosage of cancer-killing radiation can be directed at tumors with fewer complications and increased patient comfort. Dr. Steven Braun is the medical director. He is a 1987 graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine and is board certified by the American College of Radiology and a diplomat of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology.
